Coueteliec Gites

Coueteliec (in Breton, Stone in the Forest) is 4 beautiful C18th stone cottages set in 22 acres of private meadow and forest. Situated near Inguiniel in Morbihan, S. Brittany, Coueteliec offers access to a range of historic towns, stunning coastal resorts, lakes and nature resorts.
Whilst Coueteliec is rural in nature, it is only a 30 minute drive to the coast of Morbihan, close to the city of Lorient. Other towns worth visiting in the area include the medieval walled cities of Vannes and Hennebont; the coastal towns of Concarneau, Benodet and Carnac; the famous home of Gaugin, Pont Avon and Pontivy.
The nearest large town, Guemene-sur-Scorff, is about 10 minutes from Coueteliec and has a number of good supermarkets, bars and restaurants, whilst Inguiniel is only 2km from Coueteliec and again has bars, restaurants, boulangeries and boucheries.

The cottages were renovated throughout in 2003 and the property now has 2, 2 bedroom and 2, 3 bedroom cottages, sleeping from 4-6 persons plus an infant. All of the cottages have upstairs bathroom or shower room and WC, whilst one of the 2 bedroom cottages also has a downstairs WC.

The 11 metre by 5 metre swimming pool is fully enclosed by a 2 metre fence for safety and has a child proof cover for additional safety. The pool is 2 metre deep at its centre which means older children and adults can enjoy themselves, whilst the younger ones can play in the shallower end which has a depth of 1 metre.

Guests to Coueteliec are able to enjoy our spacious grounds and heated pool. The property is set in 22 acres of private meadow and forest. This gives guests plenty of room for children to play safely, well away from the nearest traffic. To enable you to enjoy this solitude each cottage has a set of garden furniture and a bar-b-que. A small play-area is also available for young children.

The fully equipped lounge has UK satellite TV, a DVD player and CD player. Cots, highchairs, stair-gates and change mats are also generally available, depending on demand.

Each cottage has a fully fitted kitchen/diner, with full-sized oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster and kettle.
